Goulds Water Technology Release New Residential VFD System

Package Designed for Reliable Pressure, Optimized Energy Usage
Goulds Water Technology, a Xylem brand, announced the release of its new ResiBoost Complete Packaged Variable Frequency System, which it calls a “next-generation engineered design.” The package includes a variable frequency controller, a multistage stainless-steel pump and tank. The ResiBoost, Goulds says, maintains and automatically adjusts water pressure throughout the home when multiple water sources are used simultaneously.

Flomatic Unveils Model 48 Drain-Back Plug for Submersible Pump Installs

Valve Makes Pulling Pipe, Pump Easier, Flomatic Says
Valve manufacturer Flomatic has rollout out its new Drain-Back Plug, Model 48, for submersible pump water well installations. In a release, the company says the reusable Model 48 is designed to drain the riser pipe. It activates when a weight drops into the well drop pipe. The plunger is stroked by the weight and opens the valve, which returns to its closed position when the drop weight is removed. The Model 48 is NSF 372-certified, and designed in all stainless steel construction with Buna-N resilient seating.

The companies say the new organization, operated by Fordia, will offer an “exploration solution for all products, parts and aftermarket service needs with greater efficiency and shorter lead times.”

Kubota's "year of the excavator" continues with the introduction of its third compact model in 2021, the tight tail swing, 4.8-metric-ton U48-5.
“The 4-5-ton class is our sweet spot, anchored by the KX040, and by expanding the U Series, we now have a unique offering that includes all the power of a conventional tail swing in a tight tail for another perfectly matched machine for any job and application,” says Patrick Baker, Kubota construction equipment product manager.

Ditch Witch AT32 Ups Rotational Torque for Rock Drilling

Replacing the AT30, the new Ditch Witch AT32 all-terrain horizontal drill offers significant percentage increases in both outer rotational torque (up 29% at 4,200 foot-pounds) and inner rotational torque (up 50% at 1,200 foot pounds).
The 32,000-pound thrust-and-pullback AT32 is designed for drilling through hard rock. Powered by a 155-horsepower Cummins diesel, the drill has a new rod loading system that gives operators the ability to carry 450 feet of AT drill on board – 30% more than the AT30.
